Dr. Sokoloff and ‘Movember’ Featured in the Telegram

Dr. Sokoloff

Now that the month of “Movember” is over and beards have been shaved away, we must not forget to raise awareness of men’s health issues all year. Mitchell Sokoloff, MD, chair of urology, leads this charge in an op-ed published in the Telegram & Gazette. He addresses prostate and testis cancer, while talking about how African-American men are at a greater risk of being diagnosed. Dr. Sokoloff tells us how the organization PHEN (Prostate Health Education Network) in Boston, in conjunction with our urology department, are working to increase the level of both care and education received by underserved populations.
