A team of employees working to help improve patient experience at our Medical Center seeks your feedback. Through July 1, don’t be surprised to see team members dressed in brightly colored vests carrying large blue buckets. Known as the DIB (for “drop in the bucket”) Team, members ask employees to complete a two-question paper survey and then drop it in the bucket. Employees can also take the survey online. The initiative is led by Alicia Wierenga, NP, nurse manager, who said, “Feedback from our frontline staff ensures everyone is involved in our evolution to become the best place to give and get care.” Want to join the DIBTEAM? Authorized to Order Supplies? Register with Staples; Join Training

Staples Business Advantage will be our new systemwide provider for ordering office supplies starting June 15. Over the coming weeks, we’ll transition ordering from our current vendor, OfficeMax. Employees currently authorized for ordering office supplies are reminded to register online with Staples Business Advantage as soon as possible. This step is important so that Staples Business Advantage can set up user profiles and desktop delivery locations. Be sure to have your department’s cost center number and vice president contact information handy. If you need assistance, ask your manager. Teddy Bear Clinic Returns September 30; Sign Up for Booth Today!

The Teddy Bear Clinic Committee invites your department to participate in this fun-filled event taking place Saturday, September 30, 10 am to 3 pm, Ecotarium in Worcester. This wonderful event provides a free day of health awareness, wellness information and interactive activities designed especially for children. To reserve a booth for your department, fill out the booth registration form and return to Melissa Luman, manager, Child Life Program, no later than July 10. Be sure to take a moment to read our booth and volunteer guidelines before planning for the event.
