Pastoral Care Recognizes Ash Wednesday Services Tomorrow

The Pastoral Care Department will offer Ash Wednesday services Wednesday, February 14 for our patients, staff and families.

  • Mass and ashes are offered at noon at the Meditation and Prayer Room, Memorial Campus (first floor, East Building) and at the Lazare Auditorium, University Campus.
  • Ashes are also offered in the foyer of the Hahnemann Campus from 7 to 8 am; at the Infusion Center in the Ambulatory Care Center, University Campus, 11:30 am; and at Psychiatric Treatment and Recovery Center at 1 pm.
  • Chaplains and servers will be visiting inpatient units on both Memorial and University campuses for the imposition of ashes on patients from 1 to 2 pm.
  • Local parishes Mass times: The Parish of St. Anne in Shrewsbury, near the University Campus, has Ash Wednesday Mass at 9 am, noon and 7 pm. Our Lady of Providence, near the Memorial Campus, has Ash Wednesday Mass at 8:15 am, noon and 7:30 pm (Spanish Mass).

Epic Reporting Workshops Now Available; See Schedule

These workshops can be attended via WebEx or in person at 100 Front Street, Room 231. Topics include inpatient, radiology, ambulatory, billing/revenue and more. Medical Center Newborns Celebrated Super Bowl in Style!

Two Maternity Center nurses made sweet hats and blankets for our tiniest Patriots fans.

A big thank you to our Medical Center mother-baby nurses, Susan Contonio and Suzanne Golas, who, for the second year in a row, made 60 cozy Patriots blankets and adorable pom-pom hats to give to moms and their new little Patriots fans on Super Bowl Sunday! Last year’s image of our Patriots babies decked out in their hand-made fan gear went viral and garnered a great deal of media attention!
