The Telegram & Gazette recently reported that while statewide deaths from opioid-related overdoses have decreased by an estimated 8.3 percent over the previous year, Worcester’s opioid deaths have remained steady, dropping only slightly. associate program director of medical toxicology, said he is seeing is far more people coming in who have been revived with the overdose-reversing drug Narcan.
