Look for Farm-fresh Produce Now in Our Cafeterias

This week marks the start of our food and nutrition department’s partnership with the Worcester Regional Food Hub that brings locally grown produce to our cafeterias. “New England has a great selection of good and local farms,” said Steven Guerin, director of food and nutrition, University Campus. “Not only does working with the Worcester Regional Food Hub reduce our carbon footprint and strengthen the local economy, it also ensures a fresher product with better taste and nutritional value.” Be on the lookout for the fresh produce featured at our salad bars, action stations and entrée stations.
