Safeguard Protected Health Information: Take EL4U Course

As part of our continuing security awareness program, Privacy and Information Security is providing access via E-Learning 4U (EL4U) to Wombat Security Awareness Training. This month’s topic is “Organization Protected Health Information (PHI).” Learn how to safeguard PHI to meet the Health Insurance Portability and Accontability Act (HIPAA) Omnibus rules that include new regulations in addition to the former HIPAA and Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act standards. Learn about PHI identifiers and receive practical guidance for using, disclosing, transmitting and storing PHI.
