Get Vaccinated! Attend Final Flu Fairs this Week

The influenza virus poses a serious threat to our patients, caregivers and others. That’s why our flu policy requires all caregivers to get the flu shot. We also are required to report the influenza vaccination status of every caregiver to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Get your flu shot at a Flu Fair this week on Wednesday, December 5, 9:30 to 11:30 am, Worcester Business Center, Bancroft and Hanover A Conference Rooms, or Thursday, December 6, 9 am to 1 pm, 333 South Street. Can’t make a Flu Fair? Stop by Employee Health Services, 291 Lincoln Street, Suite 100, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Don’t forget to bring your Kronos ID or driver’s license.
  • Submit proof of your vaccination to Employee Health Services if you get your flu shot elsewhere.
  • Submit a declination form to Employee Health Services if you aren’t going to be vaccinated.

Caregivers who haven’t received a flu shot will be required to wear masks in patient care areas beginning Saturday, December 15. Visit the flu season page on OurNet for more information.
