Put Your Vision Into Focus: Schedule Your Annual Exam

Eye exams play an important role in your overall wellness. In addition to testing your vision, regular eye exams can help identify early signs of certain chronic health conditions, including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and high cholesterol. When you get your eyes checked every year, you’re helping your eyes – and possibly your whole body – stay well. If you’re enrolled in a Blue Cross Blue Shield or Health Plans Inc. medical plan, you’re covered for an annual eye exam when you use in-network providers. Participating in EyeMed? You also have coverage for glasses or contact lenses, as well as your annual eye exam. Refer to your Benefits Guide or visit or MyBenefits for coverage details. Questions? Email or call the Benefits Contact Center at 508-334-8511.
