Take the Gift Shop Survey!

As part of ongoing efforts to improve the satisfaction of employees, visitors and patients at our Medical Center, we invite you to provide feedback about our gift shop by participating in a brief online survey. The gift shop’s mission is to provide excellent customer service and product selection. We want to know if it’s meeting your needs and hear your ideas about what products you’d like to see in the shop. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and will be available online for one week. Thank you in advance for your participation. Take the survey.

Back-to-School Reminder: Watch Kids’ Use of Tobacco Products

stop tobacco useNow that school is back in session, employees who are parents/caregivers are reminded that the tobacco industry continues to produce new and varied nicotine delivery products. Examples include e-cigarettes and vape pens that are sweet, affordable and easy for young people to get. These products are not regulated by the Federal Drug Administration, so there is no way of knowing how much nicotine or other chemicals they contain. They come in candy and fruity flavors and have become trendy among young people. In fact, their use is on the rise among high school students. In Massachusetts, high school students who have used e-cigarettes doubled from 5 percent in 2011 to 10.7 percent in 2013.
