Nominations for the annual Schwartz Center National Compassionate Caregiver of the Year Award are due Friday, March 30. This prestigious award recognizes health care providers who display extraordinary compassion in caring for patients. The Schwartz Center will honor the award recipient and finalists at its annual Kenneth B. At this forum, the importance of compassion when providing care to our patients is expressed through stories told by our patients. ‘Addiction Barriers’ on Topic for Friday’s Schwartz Rounds

This Friday, April 14, the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare is hosting, “When Addiction Becomes a Barrier to Compassionate Care.” The Schwartz Rounds provide a multidisciplinary forum where caregivers are free to discuss difficult emotional and social issues that arise in caring for patients.
