News & Views recently featured a series of videos showcasing the everyday work of our “Sweet 16” teams that led to their being nominated as finalists for the Innovators of the Year Award. Yesterday, watch parties were held across the system to reveal the teams that won this prestigious award. And the winners are … the Medical Center – Emergency Department (University Campus) and Marlborough Hospital – Granger 1 and 2! Congratulations to the winning teams. Watch video to learn more.

Join Innovation Celebration; Vote for Favorite Sweet 16 Teams!

All caregivers are encouraged to stop by the next Innovation Celebration on Friday, December 21 from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm on the University Campus in the administration hallway, first floor. During this event you will have the chance to help determine the Innovator of the Year Award winner by voting for your favorite “Sweet 16” teams! You can also recognize our new Lean Green Belts and their projects, and get updates on the Standards of Respect and many other Medical Center initiatives and ideas! Refreshments will be served!

Last week, we kicked off a four-part video series showcasing the work of the 2018 Innovators of the Year finalist teams – our “Sweet 16.” Watch the second video now to learn about four more finalists – Patient Experience/Visitor Assistance Services, the Eye Center, the University Campus Emergency Department, and University and Hahnemann campuses’ Patient Financial Counseling.

Our Innovators of the Year finalists – also known as our “Sweet 16” – have been announced, and you’re invited to learn more about them by watching a four-part video series featuring four teams each. The kickoff video below highlights Information Services/Desktop Services and Medical Center teams from Emergency Mental Health, 5 East, and the Memorial Campus Emergency Department. The next video will be included in the next edition of News & Views. After all four videos have been featured, you’ll get to vote for your favorite team! The winning team(s) will be announced in January.

The 2018 Innovators of the Year finalist teams – our “Sweet 16” – were announced earlier this month to all caregivers across the system. Starting next week, News & Views will be featuring these teams in a four-part video series to give you the chance to learn more about them. The Innovators of the Year winning teams will be announced in early January. New this year: You’ll get to vote for your favorite team! Watch the video series for additional details.
